Credit & Refund Policy

At Soccer Shots Southwest Connecticut, we aim to balance fairness for enrolled families with the operational realities of staffing, scheduling, and program preparation. Our policies are designed to be clear, respectful, and consistent, while allowing for thoughtful accommodations in special circumstances.

📆 Withdrawals & Refunds

Prior to Season Start:

• Withdrawal requests received 2 or more weeks before the season start date are eligible for a full refund, minus a $35 administrative processing fee.

• Withdrawal requests submitted less than two weeks before the program start date are eligible for a 50% refund of the program fee (excluding the annual enrollment fee) or a 100% credit to your Soccer Shots account, which can be used within the next 12 months.

• All refunds exclude the annual enrollment fee (non refundable).
  This policy accounts for the challenges of filling spots on short notice while still offering flexibility for families.

  • Credit can be used toward any future program within our Southwest Connecticut territory and may be applied to any child in your household.

  • Credit expires 12 months from the issue date.

After the Season Begins:

• We do not issue refunds after the first class of the season has occurred.

• For withdrawal requests submitted after the program starts but before the third scheduled session, a partial credit will be offered based on the number of remaining sessions at the time of the request.

• No refunds or credits are available for withdrawal requests made after the third scheduled class, except in documented special circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies, developmental needs). These will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

 

Please note: Missed sessions are counted as "attended" unless a withdrawal is formally requested prior to the scheduled session. Attendance is not determined by physical presence alone.

💳 Enrollment Fee

An annual $35 enrollment fee is charged once every 340 days and is non-refundable.
This fee helps cover the cost of your child’s official Soccer Shots jersey, end-of-season materials, administrative fees, and coach background checks.

🌧 Weather & Site Closures

• We make every effort to complete each season as scheduled, including using pre-scheduled makeup dates for weather cancellations.

• Up to two make-up sessions are offered per season when needed.

• If sessions cannot be completed due to site restrictions or force majeure (e.g., public health orders), families will receive a credit for any remaining missed sessions.

• We do not issue refunds due to weather-related cancellations.

• If a family is unable to attend a scheduled make-up session, we are unable to offer additional refunds or credits.

🚫 Missed Classes (No-Shows)

• No credits or refunds are offered for missed classes due to family travel, illness, or schedule conflicts.

• Where possible, we may be able to offer a make-up option at a different location during the same season, if space allows.
