Credit and Refund Policy

At Soccer Shots, we strive to consider both our enrolled families and our dedicated staff and coaches when it comes to credits and refunds. Our policies are designed to provide clarity and fairness while accounting for the realities of outdoor programming and scheduling challenges.

Completion of Soccer Shots Seasons: Our goal is to complete every Soccer Shots season as scheduled. In the event that in-person sessions cannot continue due to local or federal restrictions, we will issue a credit for the remaining balance based on the number of classes left in the session. This credit can be used at any future site or season within our Southwest Connecticut territory and may be applied for any child. Please note that we do not issue refunds for cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as public health restrictions.

Attendance: While we understand that schedules can be unpredictable, we are unable to offer refunds or credits for non-attendance at a scheduled class. Make-up classes are not available for individual absences. We encourage families to attend all scheduled sessions to get the most out of the program.

Withdrawal Policy: If you wish to withdraw from a class, please notify us at least two weeks prior to the start of the season. In this case, you will receive a refund to the original payment source, minus a $35 processing fee. Withdrawals requested within two weeks of the program start will receive a full credit on your Soccer Shots account. For withdrawals made after the program begins and before the third week, we will issue a partial credit equal to the remaining sessions. Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds or credits for withdrawals requested after the third week of the program. In special cases (such as medical emergencies), we will consider credits or refunds on a case-by-case basis.

Annual Enrollment Fee: The enrollment fee, charged once per year, is non-refundable. This fee includes an Orange Soccer Shots jersey shipped directly to you. Some programs, including third-party run programs, birthday parties, and Free Fun Days, do not charge enrollment fees.

Weather and Cancellations: We play in light rain but not during storms. Weather-related cancellations will be communicated via email, and text messages will be sent when less than an hour remains before class time. Our goal is to provide notification at least two hours before class starts.

If Soccer Shots needs to cancel a session due to weather, we will attempt to schedule make-up classes whenever possible. During an 8-week or longer season, we aim to make up a maximum of two cancelled classes. For shorter seasons, we will attempt to make up one cancelled class. Please understand that make-up classes may be scheduled on different days or at different times than your regular session.

For all outdoor public programs, there are two pre-scheduled make-up dates set prior to the season, which are communicated to families beforehand. These dates may differ from the regular schedule, and if we need to use them, we will still notify families via email. As these dates are clearly communicated on the enrollment page as planned make-up dates, we cannot be held responsible if a family cannot attend. In the unlikely event that more than two sessions are cancelled, we will do our best to schedule additional make-up classes and communicate these as applicable.

Since weather conditions are out of our control, we appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Our make-up plan is communicated before enrollment to help families make an informed decision. We encourage families to consider this when signing up, as withdrawing due to weather-related cancellations may not result in refunds or additional credits.

Make-Up Classes for Missed Sessions: If a participant misses a session, we will do our best to offer make-up options at different times or locations within the same season, as long as it is not the final session of the season at that location. Make-up requests must be submitted in writing to swct@soccershots.com. Please note that make-up options may vary based on the availability of space and schedule alignment.

Arrival & Dismissal Policy: For public and park sessions, a grown-up must stay with the child throughout the class. These are not drop-off sessions.
