Credit and Refund Policy

In our effort to consider children and families that are enrolled in our programs, and our staff and coaches, the following policies are active for credits and refunds:

We are hopeful and planning that our Soccer Shots season will be able to be completed in person. However, in the event that Soccer Shots in-person sessions cannot continue due to local or federal restrictions, we will credit your account with the remaining balance based on the # of classes left in your session. Credits can be used at any future site or season within our Southwest Connecticut territory and may be used for any child. We will not issue any refunds related to not being able to continue with Soccer Shots in-person sessions.

• Attendance - There are NO Refunds or credits for non-attendance at a scheduled class. We will NOT be offering makeup classes for non-attendance of a scheduled class.

• Withdrawal - If you are requesting a withdrawal from a class a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the start of the season, you will receive a refund back to the payment source minus a $35 processing fee. Any withdrawals requested within 2 weeks of the start of the program, will receive a full credit on their Soccer Shots account. Any withdrawals made after the beginning of the program, and before the 3rd week of programs will be awarded partial credit for the amount equal to the remaining sessions. We will not provide credits or refunds for withdrawal requests made after week 3 of programs starting. Refunds/Credits after the program start date for special cases can be considered.
  

• Enrollment Fee - There is no refund of the enrollment fee that is charged once every year. When the enrollment fee is charged, you will receive an Orange Soccer Shots jersey shipped directly to you. Some programs do not charge enrollment fees (third party run programs, birthday parties, Free Fun Days...etc).

Make-Up Classes & Cancellations:

If Soccer Shots is cancelling the sessions:

• During a season of 8 weeks or longer, whenever possible, we will attempt to make up a maximum of 2 classes due to inclement weather that forces us to cancel a class. If the season is shorter than 8 weeks, we will attempt to make up 1 class due to inclement weather.
• Make-up classes may be held on a different day or time than the regularly scheduled class. If a make-up is cancelled due to weather, it will not be rescheduled.
• Soccer Shots reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment. Upon cancellation, a full refund will be made.
• Soccer Shots shall assume no liability whatsoever in the event a class is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed due to a fortuitous event, Act of God, unforeseen occurrence or any other event that renders performance of classes impracticable, illegal or impossible. For purposes of this clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but not be limited to: war, fire, earthquake, labor strike, extreme weather, pandemic, or other emergency.

If participant misses a session:

• All make-up requests must be made in writing to and emailed to swct@soccershots.com.
• Soccer Shots will not offer any credits or refunds for any scheduled sessions a participant/family misses.
  
• If a participant/family misses a session, Soccer Shots will make all reasonable efforts to offer make-up options on different days and different locations within the same season, as long as it is not the last day of the season at said locations.
• If a participant misses a Soccer Shots session at a school/private location, Soccer Shots will make all reasonable efforts to offer make-up options at Public locations within the same season, as long as it is not the last day of the season at said locations.

Weather

• We do play in light rain but not storms.
• All weather related cancellations will be communicated via email. A text message will be sent out as well when less than an hour until class time. Our goal is to get word to everyone around 2 hours before class starts.
  
• If you have not heard from us, it means sessions are on as scheduled.

Arrival & Dismissal Policy:

• Grown ups are required to stay with their children at public & park sessions at all times. These are not drop off classes.
