Make-Up Policy 

In our effort to consider children and families that are enrolled in our programs, and also our staff and coaches, the following policies are active for session make-ups.

If participant/family misses a session:

• All make-up requests must be made in writing to and emailed to [email protected]
• Soccer Shots will not offer any credits or refunds for any sessions a participant/family misses for any personal reasons
• If a participant/family misses a session, Soccer Shots will make all reasonable efforts to offer make-up options on different days and different locations, as long as it is not the last day of the season at said locations
• If a participant misses a Soccer Shots session at a school/private location, Soccer Shots will make all reasonable efforts to offer make-up options at Public locations, as long as it is not the last day of the season at said locations
• Schools and Childcare Locations: In the event that Soccer Shots in-person sessions cannot be completed due to local or federal restrictions, we will work with each location to implement an alternative plan. If the season cannot be completed, we will issue a credit for the remaining sessions.
• Withdrawal - If you are requesting a withdrawal from a class at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the season, we will allow a credit for a future season. If your request is less than 2 weeks prior to the start of season, you can receive a credit for a future season minus a $49.99 processing fee. We are unable to offer refunds or credits once the season has started. All requests for credits for sessions prior to the start of the season must be made in writing and emailed to [email protected]

If Soccer Shots is cancelling the sessions:

• Make-up classes may be held on a different day or time than the regularly scheduled class. If a make-up session is cancelled due to inclement weather, it will not be rescheduled.
• Soccer Shots reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment. Upon cancellation, a full refund will be made.
• Public Seasons - During spring, summer and fall seasons, whenever possible, we will use indoor space during inclement weather. If there is no indoor space available, or during an indoor season, we will schedule to make up a maximum of two classes due to inclement weather (extreme cold, heat, snow, or rain) using the pre-scheduled make-up dates laid out prior to the season.
• Schools - During outdoor seasons, if sessions need to be cancelled due to inclement weather, we will work with your school or center to reschedule up to two cancelled sessions or offer a make-up session at a different location and time. During the winter season, if your school or center is closed on a Soccer Shots Day due to snow or other weather-related issues, we will work with your school or center to reschedule up to two cancelled sessions or offer a make-up session at a different location and time.
• All Seasons: We are hopeful and planning that all Soccer Shots seasons will be able to be completed in person. However, in the event that Soccer Shots in-person sessions cannot continue due to local or federal restrictions, we will replace up to three sessions with Soccer Shots On-The-Go Live via Zoom. After three live Zoom sessions, parents/guardians will have the option to continue with zoom sessions or receive a credit for the remaining sessions. Credits will only be offered if more than three sessions are canceled due to local and/or federal restrictions. Credits must be requested via email to [email protected] and will be processed into a parent/guardian’s Soccer Shots account. Credits can be used at any future site or season within our Southwest Connecticut territory and may be used for any child. We will not issue any refunds related to not being able to continue with Soccer Shots in-person sessions
